- Vial purchases are non-refundable.
- Vials that have not left TSBC premises may be exchanged for other vials. There is a fee for this service.
- Retrieved vials may be restocked with us for a fee. These restocked vials will not carry TSBC’s sperm count guarantee and may not be exchanged for other vials.
- Vials from General Inventory remaining at TSBC for more than three months are subject to quarterly storage fees.
- Sibling Inventory vials are subject to an annual storage fee, due at time of purchase. Nonpayment of storage fees cancels the storage agreement and releases ownership of the vials back to TSBC.
- Vials may be sold to more than ten recipients at any given time. Once ten live births are reported for a donor, purchased vials may not be released and will be exchanged for a different donor or refunded. TSBC may place a donor on “Family Limit Hold” before ten live births are reported if based on pregnancies and retrieved vials a hold is needed to prevent the donor from going over the ten family limit.
- Recipients are expected to report all conceptions to TSBC when they occur and report the outcome for each pregnancy. TSBC tracks all conception and birth outcomes as part of our commitment to maintaining our low donor family limit, to allow participation in our ongoing family programs, and for quality control and research purposes. Please be advised that your medical provider may report this information directly to TSBC. If we receive a report from your medical provider, we will contact you to obtain a complete report.
