To establish an account with us, we ask that you register through a licensed medical professional who can sign your semen order form as proof that you are under medical supervision. Any medical professional licensed to write prescriptions in your state can register with TSBC (this includes doctors, nurse practitioners, physician's assistants, or certified nurse midwives). If one member of a group practice is registered with us, the entire practice is registered with us.

We ship sperm samples all over the world. If you live outside the United States, please read through the information below, then click here for more information specific to International Shipments.

You can not get on any donor notification lists or purchase donor sperm samples until both you and your medical professional have registered with us.
Here's how to get started:

Step 1: Choose a medical professional.

  • Call us at 510-841-1858 to find out if your healthcare provider is already registered with TSBC. If yes, go to step 2.

  • If your healthcare provider is not registered with TSBC, he or she can register by completing our Medical Professional Registration form and submitting this with a copy of his or her state license. There is no fee for registering your own medical professional.

  • We can also let you know what medical professionals in your area are already registered with us.

  • Have your medical professional sign a semen order form at this time in preparation for your first shipment or pick-up. (see below for more details)

  • Step 2: Establish an account.

  • Complete the Recipient Information Form

  • Read and sign the Informed Consent for Semen Recipient

  • Mail, fax or email these forms (and, if applicable, your doctor's signed Medical Professional Registration Form and copy of license) to us with your registration fee.

  • Please call us at 510-841-1858 to confirm that we've received your completed paperwork.

  • Step 3: Choose donors.

  • Our free donor catalog and donor profiles are posted here.

  • Step 4: Purchase donor inventory.

  • Once we receive all of your paperwork, it will take between 5-7 business days to become registered. You will know you have completed the process when you see the charge on your card and when you receive a Welcome email from TSBC. You are now ready to place you 1st order.

  • Call us at 510-841-1858 at least 7 to 10 days before your planned insemination to purchase donor sperm.

  • Let us know the quantity and type of vials you need.
Please make note of the donor numbers you have purchased and/or the notification lists you are on.

  • (If the Donor you have chosen is sold out- Click here for details on notification lists).

  • Please note: If a donor retires or reaches his ten-family limit before you retrieve your purchased vials, we will not be able to release them to you. In this instance, we will refund the cost of the vials. In all other situations, vial purchases are nonrefundable.

  • Step 5: Place your order.

  • Please call us at 510-841-1858 to schedule your shipment or pick-up, even if you have faxed in your Semen Order Form or have left a message on our voice mail. Your order is not confirmed until you have spoken with TSBC Staff.
