Screening Tests and Laboratories

TSBC screens all sperm donors in accordance with regulations and/or recommended by the FDA, the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, the American Association of Tissue Banks, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. We use only cryopreserved (frozen) semen, and all sperm samples are quarantined for a minimum of six months before they are released, so that we may thoroughly screen donors for sexually transmitted diseases.
